While working on this painting I definitely developed an appreciation for Kate Bush along the way. For whatever reason, I had written her off as a pop star from the aughts but I can admit I was wrong on a few different levels there. I even remembered that I loved her song with Peter Gabriel when I was a kid! Anyways, I was also happy the Floridian who ordered this painting really wanted to embrace the trashy side of the Sunshine state. I went there with the colors, the bad Minnie Mouse in a Babushka tattoo and the bumps on a log which I decided is the trashiest vegetarian dish (also known as Frogs on a Log in Florida, I learned).
