This painting was so clean that I think it doesn’t translate online as well as it should. It looks computer generated however that is a hand painted work on a street sign. Courtenay Long has ordered 3 paintings and each has really pushed the concept of Two Thangs pretty far. This one combining street signs and texting language also had a large Roy Lichtenstein influence and his source material of 60s comic book explosions.
